I was in London when I was nine years old. There we went to theathre
for watching CATS. I didn't understand a word (I'm finnish), but I
liked the music and the dance. Next Christmas I get the CATS cd. I
listened it sometimes, not very often. I wasn't a really fan, but I
still liked it. Then I get the video. I watched it least once a week.
I could every song wherever, and I knew amazing things about CATS.
But then I forgotted CATS. I had so many things I need to think,
there was no time. A week ago I watched the video, because one my
friend wanted so. Now I'm a fan again. I'm sorry about the mistakes,
but like I said, I'm finnish.

I'm merely 19 years old and I live in France. I've always loved
musicals and my favourite was 'Les Miserables' until last year, when
I first saw CATS on TV. I get totally obsessed by it (music, songs,
costumes...are so wonderful and magic!), and now I don't stop
listening to CD's and watching the amazing video! As you can guess,
my favourite character is Jemima/Sillabub (I prefer Jemima) and I
also love Munkustrap. However I've never seen Cats live and I dream
to be able to go to London and see it!

I am 17 years old. I used to see commercials for CATS back in the
'80s when I was little and I always wanted to see it. I did back in
April and I am so happy! It is such a great show! The music, dancing
and everything! I LOVE it!! I think the guy who plays Pouncival on
the video (Karl Morgan) is really cute, but I can't seem to find any

I became a cats fan when my cousin saw it she said it was so-so then
I rented it from blockbuster and loved it then me and my cousins
after 2 years of worshiping it got per see it on Broadway! My fav
characters are Munkustrap and Demeter.

I'm 16. I am a total CATS fanatic! I had heard of them for ages and
saw bits and peices of it, and then, about 4 years ago, I rented it.
OH MI GOSH!!! I love it!!! Now I've gotten all my friends to see it,
and everyone of them loves it too. I love the music, the dancing, the
characters and the costumes..well, you all understand! And I totally
respect them as preformers, being an asparing actress myself. That
would be so hard to preform! I watch it so much that I know all the
steps, even though I can't dance. I know evert single word and step
they do..My FAVORITE characters are: (girl) Jemima and (guy) Tugger.
I also love Ecectra, Munku, Teazer, Alonzo, Bomby, Asparagus, Demi,
Misto, and Macavity and Electra. I may go see CATS this summer before
it goes off Broadway. It'll be awesome! Me and my friends are on so
many RPGs and we have all the nicknames and inside jokes about the
Jellicles. Now we even make up our own cats!

I was introduced to CATS through a friend who loved it. I didn't
think much of it until I bought the Soundtrack to the Broadway
musical, I couldn't stop listening to it. I bought the movie a short
while back and haven't stopped watching it. My family is tired of it,
so I started watching it when no one else was around. I also started
looking on the internet for websites and pictures any info I could
get. I hope to someday see it live on broadway.

I''m twenty-one and I first heard the Cats record when I was four -
when it had recently came out for the first time. I can remember so
clearly sitting on the floor of my room in front of the player
listening to the record over and over while I followed along with the
words on the inside cover. Ever since then I've dreamed of someday
portraying Rumpleteazer on the stage. I'm currently a college student
soon to be majoring in musical theatre so I can one day fulfill my
dream. I've seen Cats in the theatre seven times, three times w/
Michael Gruber (my favourite actor) whom I've met four or five times
now. The warmest, friendliest man I've ever met ; ) I'm in the middle
of making a Sillabub/Jemima costume for Halloween - her's is my
favourite outfit (besides, I'm only 5 feet 2 - perfect S/J height!).

I'm 17 years old and am a Cats fanatic! I first saw Cats when I was
15 in Beginning Theatre Class. I was in love with it as soon as the
Cats introduced themselves and was hooked. My brother keeps telling
me to shut up when I stick in the video and sing and try to learn the
Dancing. I am totally obessed with Mungojerrie, Rumpleteazer, and
Victoria. I'm going to try and make a Mungojerrie costume for Dancing.
And I'm going to try and get permission from Really Useful Group to

I was always a big fan of musicals and Andrew Lloyd Weber. I had
thought that Jesus Christ Superstar is the greatest one, but when I
saw Cats in the TV, I changed my opinion. It's a pity, that the
nearest spectacle is in Stuttgart in Germany and I hate this German version. I hope that Cats will be produced in Prague or I will have
to get money to trip to London. Now, my lovely Etcetera, Jemima,
Rumpelteazer and my admired Munkustrap must wait for me."

Cats was my first musical. When I saw it it was a night performance and my
parents thouhgt I would fall asleep (I was only 6). It just happened that
the whole show swept me up and I didn't fall asleep at all! I have seen
almost every ALW show. My other favorites being Starlight Express and
Phantom of the Opera. I hope to one day be in Cats or Starlight.

i just turned 13 and my birthday is on the 9th of may two days before
cats in londons birthday i went to see it on closing night thats how
much i love it and i saw it in 2000 for my birthday i got the video
first and after seeing the show the video does not seem as good i
also bought the dvd of cats so i could get the extras ive got the
original london cats cd and the original broadway cast cd on order i
know all of the dance moves and i just totally love it it only took
me one day to learn the dances and the songs my faviorite characters
are demeter jemima munkustrap and grizzabella my alias is munkustrap

I became a fan a couple of weeks ago when my dad rented the video
from the library. I didnt think I would like it, because I don't like
Cats very much. However, My favorite play happens to be "Joseph and
the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" by Andrew Lloyd Webber, so I
thought I would give "CATS" a try too. I LOVED IT!!! I t was so
awesome. And I was mad because it had just come to my town in
february and i didnt get a chance to see it. My favorite Character is
Mr. Mistoffelees, and Jacob Brent played him very well in the video.
Does anyone know any facts about Jacob, Like what he is doing now and
stuff? I am very interested. Well I want to hear from anyone who is a

I first saw Cats a year ago, and it is absoulutley the
BEST play EVER! I got the DVD for Xmas, and have been watching it
CONSTANTLY!!!!!!!! My favs are Jemima/Sillabub and Munkustrap. (maybe they
should get hooked up?????) I also like Mistophelles, Rum Tum Tugger, AND
ESPECIALLY RUMPLETEAZER!!!!!! It is such a totally magical expeiriance, like
when all those christmas lights go on for the Jellicle Ball, and when Misto
does those totally kewl fireballs! It's soooooo cool!

I am Bombalurina, actually my real name is Julia. I love the video
cats, the cast in the video are the best cats. The whole play is
genious. I want to be in it someday and be Bombalurina. I am Bomb's
biggest fan. Not just the cat Bombalurina, the real Rosemarie.

I love CATS, my favourite characters are Macavity, Mungojerrie,
Rumpelteazer, Coricopat, Tantomile, Griddlebone. I like all the other
characters as well though. I became a fan of CATS when it came to
Australia, and I saw it with my school, then I saw it on TV and
recorded it, then I started writting my own CATS fanfics full time.
Then I bought the Video, joined a few message boards, then got the
CD. My teachers at my new school (not the one I saw CATS with) love
CATS as well and are also in my fanfics and they sing CATS as well!
All my friends love CATS as well. I'm lucky they do. When CATS came
to Aussi-Australia (as I call it), We had the chance to all go
backstage and get everyone signatures, but our stupid teachers
wouldn't let us!

thought it was absolutly marvellous and ever since, I have gone
througb strengh to strengh in Cats fansisms. I have never been to see
a live show, but if I have my way I will see it. My favourite

I had always wanted to see CATS and I almost gave up trying when I
found out that the show would no longer be running. Then I thought,
Hey, there is always the video. Now, I cannot believe that I had not
seen it before. The show is absolutely awesome. I watch it all the

i became a huge fan when my sister kim saw it in
new york. my mom had bought it for us a few years ago and i thought that
some of the parts were boring. then my sister(12, kim) went to new york
city and saw it. she came back and said that it was really good and then
we watched it. i loved it so much that i watched it every day. then i
went to the library to find ,"the book of practical cats." by T.S Eliot.
i couldn't believe that he came up with the stuff before a broadway show
was even planned. i looked for the cd, but it wasent't at the library.
so i got on the internet and put it and the book of the musical on hold.
when i got it i loved the show even more. then i got the london cast cd.
i also joined a website about cats. my favorite is etcetera. she is so
cool. my mom hates that i do this and wants me to stop. i need someone
my age to talk to that knows where i'm coming from.

it was the best thing ever. Boy were they right! We tried to try out

I'm 17 years old and I fell hopelessly in love with "Cats" about 5 years
ago, when I auditoned for a small dance company over here in New Zealand for
a part in their production of "Cats". Since then, I've bought the CD and
the video and play them both endlessly!! My ultimate dream is to dance in

On a school trip to New York, I saw Cats for the first time. I was
hooked on it in a second. It took a month to find and buy Cats on CD.
I am currently looking for Cats on DVD, if it exists. I love the
music the best.

simply adore CATS. I saw it once, and I LOVED it so so so much. I
told everyone about it, and they thought that it would be stupid.

I'm 20 years old and about 9 or so years ago when I was around 11 my
mum took my sister and I to see Cats live. I loved it at the time,
but I didn't understand most of it. I didn't really give it a second
thought till the video came out and I saw it again, now that I
understand it I really do love it! My favorite character is Misto,
cause hes just so darn cute, plus any cat with Magical powers has me
enthralled =) I want to see it live again, but I can't because I
live in the US *sigh* just my luck that I get hooked a couple years
after it ends its run!

I'm mostly here because just recently my parents bought me Cats the
Movie for Christmas. I fell in love that every day I take time to
watch it over again. I crushed on Jacob Brent before I knew that he
was the actor playing Magical Mr. Mistoffelees. As soon as I saw that
