Victoria...the very name means victory, so in the show she could be a 
beautiful show kitten who for some reason escaped to be with the tribe. 
I think her presence not only radiates innocence (note her pure white 
costume - a symbol of purity) but also throughout the musical reminds 
us of the shortness of the childhood we have, and that we should 
nuture it so we do not grow up before our time and forget that we 
will not ever be a child again in this lifetime. Also, I think the 
meaning of the mating dance was a way of freeing herself from the 
sexual repression of childhood into the freedom of adulthood, where 
you had fewer limits and more or less learn through your own actions, 
rather than being taught.
