that Misto is the son of Bustopher Jones, look at the colouring! 
Besides, he is always right there helping out during that entire song, 
always following him around like a son pleased to see his father. I 
also think that Rum Tum Tugger is his friend and the son of Old 
Deuteronomy, they do resemble each other and RTTugger does know more 
about him than anyone else. Misto is a teenager, maybe not his first 
ball, but the first where he has taken center stage and been an 
active participant.
