When I saw the Cats show in Hamburg I got a deep impression of what it
means to perform an excellent musical. I've been to the London show
before and I must say, the german cast is really better ( if I can say
'german' cast; there are over 40 cast members and only 6 of them are
germans)! The atmosphere is so excited and full of fun when the cats
come out to the ouverture! The show really lives and every cat does his
best, so I didn't even notice just one unsureness. I loved Sillabub
because her voice was the very best, I loved Bombalurina and Demeter
because they were the best dancers, I loved Victoria because I think she
could do anything whith her body, in my opinion she was better than
Phyllida Crowley-Smith in the video and I loved Gus/Growltiger and
Jellylorum/Griddlebone because they were so cute and nice and played
their parts so well..
The only thing I didn't like was that you couldn't understand all of the
lyrics (I'm german and I knew the text very well but my mother could
barely understand the sense) because most of the actors sang whith a
strong accent. 
The costumes were great they looked quite similar to these in the video!
I was so sad when the show finished but I'm determined I'll see it again
at Stuttgart!!!
