On April 8th and 9th, I went to an Access Broadway workshop. Most Jacob Brent fans know that he teaches at these workshops. So I actually got to meet him! I couldn't wait for ballet, which was the class he was teaching. At the beginning of class I was standing in the back of the room. But Jacob made me come up front and "lead", because I was the only one who had ever done any ballet (I've taken for almost 10 years). He kept smiling at me and stuff. Once, while we were doing piques across the floor, I forgot to spot and kind of got dizzy. I almost fell over, but Jacob caught me. "Sigh". I didn't really get a chance to talk to him until Sunday the 9th though. I bought a picture of him and he was standing around when I got it. When he saw that I had HIS picture, he said "Hey! Thats me!" He ran and got a pen and signed it for me. I told him how much fun I'd had, and he said "Really? I'm so glad!" Then he winked at me. The cool part about the whole weekend was that I was the only student he talked to (besides giving directions in his class!)! I was that last kid he saw, too, before he left the hotel. I know 'cause I was the last one to leave. He's just as amazing as he is in the movie. He's one of the nicest people I have ever met, and by far the greatest dancer! He's also a wonderful teacher. Access Broadway was the best event of my life! If you have a chance to go, do it, definetly! by "Victoria"
