I only got to see "CATS" on Broadway once, in the summer of 2000. We had seventh row seats (!) and I was lucky enough to be right on the aisle. Of course, in the Winter Garden, there are performers running around all over the place, so I was agog. In the second act, Rumpleteazer (played by Tesha Buss at the time) slid right down my aisle and parked herself right next to me. I figured, "I'll only get to do this once," so I reached out and petted her. She rubbed her head against my hand and played along and it was so wonderful!! Before she left to go back up on stage, she tapped me on the foot and smiled at me! If you happen to be reading this, Tesha, thank you for truly completing my experience in the Winter Garden! Serena
