My encounter was in September of 1999. I am from Decatur, IL, and CATS did a
performance at Millikin Fine Arts Center. My encounter was with Rum Tum Tugger
:) I get goose bumps just thinking about it. When he was doing his sketch, and
doing his dance, I had front row first seat. I was just locking eyes with him
the whole time and then he came from off the stage onto the floor and took my
hand and we danced together! The spotlight was on us, and it was just
wonderful! I was so nervous, but so excited at the same time!
And then at the end of the performance, when they all bowed he took his hands
and made a heart on his chest and pointed right at me and they put the
spotlight on me! If you ever read this Rum-Tum tugger from the Decatur, IL show
in September 1999, I will remember that moment forever, and i tried to find you,
but they wouldnt let me back there!!
