On my 11th (1995) Birthday my Mom took me into NYC to go shopping and 
for a "surprise." The surprise turned out to be tickets to see Cats 
that night. But it didn't end there. My Mom had a friend that worked 
backstage and we got to go backstage before the show started! It was 
amazing. I got a detailed tour of the backstage area, including the 
costume shop etc. I even met some of the cast members, but being so 
young I don't remember who they were. But I do remember that I was 
totally awe struck. I will always remember that day.
