My name is Andrea, and I just wanted to share my story of how I met Julius Sermonia. He was Mistoffelees in the national tour. He is now on Broadway playing the same character. Actually the whole thing started when he saw my sisters web site dedicated to him. He contacted her and they started talking. When he found out that we were going to see Cats on December 16 in East Lansing, MI, he invited us to meet him backstage. Of course we agreed. We met him at the stage door an hour before the show started. First he was showing us the message board that they use and in walks Chadwick Adams (Plato/Macavity). So we met him. Then on our way to the actual backstage we met David Petro (Mungojerrie). He is my favorite and I was so excited and to top it all off he didn't have a shirt on!! Anyway after that, we went backstage and Julius showed us the costume rack. We touched his $8000 fiber optic jacket! He is taking it with him to Broadway by the way. We saw both of Jennyanydots costumes, the beetles, Bustopher Jones, and Griddlebones costumes. After all this we went on to the stage and took some pictures. All the while Julius was telling us about all their little tricks and secrets and things like that. We didn't get to stay on the stage very long because they were about to open the house. We went back to the backstage area where we met Brian Wilson and Stephen B. (can't spell his last name) of the cats chorus. The first time I saw it Stephen played Old Deuteronomy, but this time he was just in the chorus. We walked by the huge shoe and there was David warming up. Boy is he cute. Anyway it was close to showtime so we had to go to our seats. Julius invited us back afterwards too. But when we went back after the show they had to leave for some reason so we didn't get to hang out. However, Julius said that if we are ever in New York, to look him up! I think that means we will get a Broadway backstage tour too. And this was my cats experience. Andrea
