Let me start off with that I don't get the Victoria haters. I see no reason for hating her. She's not one, or close to one, of my favorite characters, but you gotta admit, she's a great dancer and by far the most graceful of them all, and the actress who played her in the movie was great. But anyways, I completely disagree COMPLETELYwith anyone who says she's innocent, pure, shy, or not very flirtatious. We all saw the mating dance, and as I recall there were no objections on her part. A little stunned at first, but once she saw the tom's intentions she fell right in. She really doesn't seem shy, and spends all her time around other cats. And she is probably as flirtatious as Bombalurina, just her styles different(didn't you see how she looked at Alonzo when he appeared during the Jellicle Ball?) But although I disagree on those aspects, Victoria is truly a genuinely kind, sweet, and forgiving cat, there's no doubt about it. She, Jemima, and Demeter were the only ones who looked at Grizabella as a poor suffering cat who just wanted to belong back with the jellicles. I think Victoria and Mistoffelees are just brother and sister, only sibling love between them, that's all. And I also think that Victoria was probalby the last cat to go to the Heavyside Layer and be reborn to another Jellicle life. Think about, they mention "Queen Victoria's reign" several times, and she's already named Victoria, and when Munkustrap is telling about the Heavyside Layer when he's singing about the Jellicle Ball, she's standing up and reaching up at it as if saying "Yes, it was wonderful!" or something like that. But all in all, Victoria's a kind and sweet kitten(I believe she's a kitten, not a teen cat or a grownup) who's not perfect, but has a heart of gold and unmatchable grace. by Chloecat
