There are so many interpretations of Victoria - and rightfully so - but I would also like to add my viewpoint to this beautiful cat. Victoria's white coat obviously plays a huge part in the story, in the idea that she is symbolic to innocence and purity. Even more so than some of the other kittens. She's, all at once, the perfect cat: she's sympathetic, sensitive to the feelings around her, proud, mysterious, dedicated..... There's so many more words to describe her but just looking at the above attributes sums her up quite nicely. I don't think she's snobbish at all. She's very introverted but, when around people she really likes and are comfortable with, she is very socially happy. We see that in the Rum Tum Tugger number. She's very proud of her feline heritage. Calm and gentle like a summer sea. Sometimes feeling very lonely and hurt. I can see Mistoffelees and Victoria becoming mates. In the CATS video, that would sure seem to be the case that the two have an attraction between them. Still, Plato is a good tom for her as well. In order to really understand what the " Mating " dance at the Jellilc eBall was all about, you'd have to be learned in Jellicle history and culture. Could it just be a ceremony for the loss of innocence and the beginning of adulthood? Could it be true mating to the one she loves? I don't care what anyone says but Mistofelees and Victoria aren't brother and sister. At least, not to me. If they were brother and sister, I think Mistoffelees woul have been there right along with Skimbleshanks during the " Loss of Innocence " ceremony - it's the duty of the brother and the rest of the family. To sum it up, if I had to list the kittens in the top ten innocence list, Victoria would be a close first with Jemima just slightly above her. ~ Mistacor
