I don'y agree with Cassandra about Skimbleshanks being a bit stupid. When he 
'eats' the coin, he is in fact BITING it - this was a method once used to 
check gold pieces, cos if it was real gold, you could make a mark on it.
Other than that, I think Skimbleshanks is pretty much an uncle or father 
figure - I mean, just look at his face during the song 'The Rum Tum Tugger'!
