Rum Tum Tugger has an abundance of personality, he simply can't help 
himself when he sees a spotlight. He's no great fighter, and sees no 
reason to interfere with Macavity, when Alonzo and Munkustrap are 
doing so well, but afterwards, when all the Jellicles are upset, he 
steps in to provide a diversion and a solution to the problem. 
Obviously, he's impressed with Mistoffelees, and seems to enjoy his 
company. My personal opinion is that he and Mistoffelees are 
attracted to each other because of their differences; Rum Tum Tugger 
likes to be seen and admired, but is perhaps not entirely sure of 
himself off-stage, and Mistoffelees appears to be shy and timid, but 
is really the one who's running the show. Personally, the Rum Tum 
Tugger charachter is the one I can relate the best with.
