Description of Rum Tum Tugger

Well, isn't it sort of obvious? Rum Tum Tugger is sort of like the 
teenager of the Jellicles. Munkustrap, most likely his brother, takes 
all the attention away from him, so what is a tom to do? He can't get 
back into the spotlight with boy scout-ish personally, can he? So he 
tries being a rebel, not to mention a heart-breaker. And it works. Old 
Deuteronomy (Goodness knows I can't spell that) I bet, is his father... 
Look at the respect he shows him. And I bet Grizabella is his mom. She 
left after her kittens were born, and through most of the show he 
can't forgive her; but he can only find it in himself to throw her an 
angry gaze and stalk off, rather than teasing and scratching her like 
the others do. OK, so he's full of himself. Every once in awhile he 
shows a nicer side. Misto is certainly Tugger's best friend. Him and 
Bombalurina? Well... Maybe. He flirts with so many girls I can't follow 
him.
