Pouncival is really cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, now that we got that, lets take a look at that neat tom. His 
fur is mostly white with brown and black stripes and patches. There 
is a big brown patch on his left eye which goes over his nose and 
that looks somehow like a scar. He is to me the youngest of the 
male cats and Jemima's brother. His father is surely Deuteronimy. 
When you think of "Gus: The Theatre Cat", there are a bunch of cats 
sitting around Old D. I think they are all his children, except 
Exotica, and Pouncival is there too. He is a playful and shiny 
character with a huge self-confidence. He likes to draw every 
attention to himself, but often it doesn't work out. At the ball 
he seems to be interested in Bombalurina, but I think that is just 
kittish trying. Pouncival adores the Tugger and tries to be much 
like him, probably some day he can reach that aim. But he tries to 
imitate nearly everybody of the older toms, for example Skimbleshanks. 
He is easy to impress, but he is just a boy! In the video he 
sometimes looks very serious and even bored, but that is just masquerade, 
in my opinion. His best friends are Admetus, Plato and Tumblebrutus, 
I can't decide with whom the relationship is the closest. Maybe 
Pouncival will become the next protector, I think he has got the ability.
 
Just one more word about Karl Morgan, who played an adoreable Pouncival. 
Have you ever saw that picture of him, without make-up. I can't help 
myself, to me it looks like two faces mixed up. Both sides of his 
face look amazingly different. But he is just *raur*.
 
I have seen CATS in Hamburg not long ago. There it seems the 
switched Pouncivals and Tumblebrutus character. Pouncival behaved 
very shy and always hid away behind Munkustrap or Jellylorum. He 
was really sweet, but not much like the Pouncival in the video. He 
also looks slightly different, for example the patch on his eye was 
black. On stage he seems to be very close with Sillabub/Jemima. But 
more in the sibling-like way, that lovers.
