Mr. Mistoffelees is my favorite character in "Cats", and CaLiCo, I 
agree that Jacob Brent IS the best at playing him.

I think he might pretend to be shy as a cover for whatever else he's 
doing, like producing kittens out of his hat. It's true that he never 
talks, except for that "Presto!". I think he is all black, except a 
small spot of white on his chest. He is small and has good balance, 
so he can "slip throught the tiniest crack, and walk on the narrowest 
rail". He is very flexible and likes to show it off in the spotlight. 
He's also kind of cuddley, like we all saw when he jumped into that 
poor old cat's arms after he magically brings him back from Macavity. 

All in all, I think that Jacob Brents version of Mr. Mistoffelees is 
the perfect cat. Smart, sensible and sweet.

Mistoffelees is the BEST!!! And I think Jacob Brent is THE BEST and 
playing him!!! He plays him so well, and is VERY expressive. I think 
Mistoffelees sort of keeps to himself, but he is adored be all who 
meet him (including me). I don't think he's vague, aloof or shy. He 
definitly knows his stuff, and isn't afraid to show it off. He's a 
small cat, the smallest of the Jellicles, and totally black except 
for a speck on his chest. His friends are Old D. and Tugger. He and 
Tugger don't show their affections though, because Tugger is too 
proud,and Misotffelees is so mysteryous.

All in all, Mr. Mistoffelees is the ideal cat. He is smart, sensible 
and sweet. I LOVE YOU, MR. MISTOFFELEES!!!!!!!
