It's great to see so many people have the same thoughts as I do about 
the greatest jellicle ever to dance at the ball.... Mr. 
Mistoffelees!!  He is a sweet, and yes I believe shy cat who doesn't 
quite know where to fit in.  He wants to be accepted but is afraid to 
reach out.  His magical powers are what brings him into the adult 
jellicles.   How could they not accept him when he brought back their 
leader.  He is a sensitive cat.  I agree with everyone who said Jacob 
Brent plays him the best.  I have the CDs and the DVD and I saw CATS 
on tour a few years ago and I can say of all of them(singing, 
dancing, acting, personality) Jacob is far and away the best Mr. M to 
ever put on a black cat costume and produce seven kittens out of a 
hat!!!!  Besides the fact he is absolutely adorable himself!!
