I think that Jacob Brent best portrays the mysterious Mr.Mistoffelees-he is
an excellent dancer and expertly depicts the playful and fun loving cat!!!
Although it has been said that he and the RumTumTugger are very good
friends,and considering that his "quiet' nature combined with his friends'
wild and provocative personality definitely confirm that opposites attract,
all I can gather from the scene is that the magical cat was probably
instantly liked by the others anyway! In my mind, his
character was created to display the cunning, magician-like traits we see in
our very own cats as well as jellicals. He brings dynamic energy to the
stage in his dancing and tricks, and although he doesn't say very much, his
actions are all the more enchanting! I wish MY cat could take
charm/sweetheart lessons from him! And that shy little smile just before he
does the disappearing act...the cutest!!!~Swoon~
