I think that Tugger is WAY too young to have been her mate, but I 
agree with Dragonfly that he could be her son. But that would mean 
she had to give birth to Macavity too, which is doubtful, unless they 
are half-brothers......but I digress. I do feel sorry for Grizabella, 
but I think she loved herself a little too much when she was younger 
and thought that everyone else should love her too. That's how she 
got rejected in the big wide world because she probably found a cat 
who was prettier and more talented than her. Maybe she got into 
prostitution, or alchohol, or something similar, and that's why she's 
such a wreck when she resurfaces. No one remembers her the way she 
was, they jsut see her as an old yicky cat who used to be beautiful 
and glamourous. She's pretty much given up hope by the time she returns, and maybe she just wants to see if she still has what it '
takes to be a jellicle.
