Grizabella is the cat that everyone feels for. I always felt
that, when she was young, she wanted a taste of the outside
world and ventured beyond the junkyard walls, something the
other Jellicles frowned upon. Being the young, naive kitty
that she was, I believe she fell into "undesirable
professions," shall we say. After a long life of catering to
other's desires, and growing old and haggared in the
process, she wanted to rejoin the tribe, and was rejected.
It's a sad story, undoubtedly the saddest of all the
Jellicles.
