Grizzabella is a seriously misunderstood member of the Jellicle tribe and 
should be treated witha little more respect for the suffering she has 
undergone and amazingly survived. Once a member of the Jellicle tribe and 
soon to be mate of Rum Tum Tugger Grizzabella left Rum Tum Tugger and the 
tribe for reasons that most Jellicles appear to assume were adventure but 
were really far more serious and one could not blame her for leaving. Grizzabella 
never could understand that Rum Tum Tugger may love have loved her but 
desired other queens but she at first was able to dismiss this factor thinking 
that when the time came for them to be Tom and Queen that he would stop 
flirting and express a desire to be only with her. But this did not happen 
as id did not Grizzabella went into a deep depression thinking it meant that 
he did not truely love her. Really she never did understand him so perhaps 
this factor might have actually been for the better in some wasy though at 
the time it hurt immensly. Then there was also the factor that she had 
several enemies such as Munkustrap and Bombalurina who she knew wanted nothing 
more than for her to go. Then finally once her mother died a day or tw 
before she and Tugger inteneded to be mates she just decided there was nothing 
left for her in the Jellicle tribe and left. For years she struggled to start 
life a freash but found  she could hardly even scrape up one meal a week and 
as she got older things became harder and harder (espically when she was 
no longer pretty) If it weren't for her her sweet and patient dispostion 
then it is more than likely that she would have showed her dramatic side 
and commited suicied long ago. But she claimed to the forlorn hope that if 
things got to there blackest that the Jellicles would always be there for 
her.  But when the time came she found all her old friends and fellow Jellicles 
turned there backs on her as if she was a piece of mud on there paws. It was 
not till she sung her song at the end of the ball that she found that there 
were still some nice Cats in the world and finally knew she would find 
happieness and a new start in a new Jellicle life.
