I say that when Demeter was a kitten, she was wild and rebellious. 
She dangerously flirted all of the time and attracted Macavity. The 
two became mates, and fromt heir union Jemima was born. When Macavity 
found out about Demeter's prgenancy, he tried to kill her. Dem ran 
back to her older sister Bombalurina who graciously accepted her back 
into the tribe. The other cats followed suit, and Munkustrap became 
Demeter's new mate. Jemima was born and raised like Munkustrap's 
daughter.
