Demeter is a young female cat (some would say kitten) belonging to 
the tribe of jellicles. She is a bit more mature than the other 
kittens, like electra and here friends, and doesn't get up to as much 
mischief as them. She follows Bombalurina around like a little sister 
and Bom looks out for her. Demeter is a very perceptive cat who 
always knows when something is wrong or danger is near. She always 
alerts the tribe when Macavity is near and some have said she was 
even in a relationship with him once. She has fur that sticks up like 
an electric shock has bolted through her to show she is always alert 
and a bit on the edge with a 'what was that?!' approach to life. She 
is a kind cat who always nearly touches the outcast Grizabella, but 
decides against it and runs away as though she is scared of her. She 
would definately be one of those cats which runs away from human 
strangers and only really trusts her owner. She seems very attracted 
to Munkustrap who cares for her a lot. I say she will be like a bit 
like Bom when she grows up, just more responsible and less of a 
flirt.
