She's tall, she's red, she's pretty and she d*mn well knows it! That's 
Bombalurina, my all-time favourite cat from my all-time favourite 
musical. Bomba is one of the more mature felines of the tribe and is 
looked up to by a lot of the other female kitties, who try and copy 
her moves in some songs, like 'Macavity' and her solo dance in the 
Jellical Ball. She is often a bit of a flirt with the toms but has 
her eyes well and truly set on the Rum Tum Tugger, who seems to be 
just happy with playfully teasing her at the moment. Bombalurina is 
best buddies with Demeter and looks out for her like a big sister. 
She has a beautiful alto (low) voice and is really great when it 
comes to shaking her groove thang! Bombalurina was the cat who 
definately got my attention the most when I saw 'Cats' in Sydney in 
95'. She is a truly classy cat!
