She is a native of Belgium, having received training at the Municipal
Institute for Ballet, in Antwerp Belguim. She participated in various
plays during her education, including 'Joint Venture', 'Initiatie',
'Fanfare', a fragment from 'The Three Muskateers' and in her final
season at the Institute for ballet (1996/1997) , she played in 'Self
Made', a production done by all last-year students.

She was an orphan in Annie (Royal Youth Theatre), Liesl in The Sound of
Music (Royal Ballet of Flanders), Jemima) in Cats in Antwerp, (Carre
Theater Producties/ Koninklijk Ballet van Vlaanderen), had several roles
as swing in Cats (New London).

She is currently playing in the UK tour of the musical Carousel as
Louise.

NOTE: Veerle has a wonderful voice. She was dubbed in the video because
at the time her English wasn't good enough.
